Chinese Cloisonné & Objects of Luxury
See beautifully crafted Chinese Cloisonné and various other exquisite Asian objects in this special exhibition of rarely seen items from the Museum’s permanent collection. Organized by students from Jacksonville State University’s Seminar in Far Eastern Art History. On opening afternoon, the students will discuss their in-depth research and work in organizing this exhibition.

The mission of the Farley L. and Germaine K. Berman Museum is to preserve, manage, collect, and utilize for educational purposes, historically significant property pertaining to the history of the world, in order to bring people and history together. This mission is founded upon two beliefs: that understanding of the past enriches people’s lives, and that the life of the past and the manner in which history repeats itself are most enjoyed through individual firsthand experience of distinguished original historic artifacts. Exit 185 off I-20 between Birmingham and Atlanta. North on State Hwy 21 seven miles. Berman Museum is located beside Anniston Museum of Natural History in Lagarde Park at the intersection of State Hwys 21/431.
