The Montgomery Zoo and Mann Wildlife Museum are located directly off Northern Bypass between Lower Wetumpka Road and Coliseum Boulevard. The zoo encompasses over 40 acres, with over 600 animals, a large lake and miniature train. The Mann Museum is a new, 28,000 square-foot building housing everything that is wild in North America. The zoo and museum are open year round, with the exception of Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Years Day. The zoo and museum admissions gates open at 9 a.m. and close at 5 p.m. Admissions to the zoo or museum is $6.00 for adults, $4.00 for children ages 3-12 and senior citizens. Children two and under are FREE. Discounted combo admission is $10.00 for adults and $7.00 for children 3-12.
